About the Role:
Join DISRUPTOR MFG as a Fabrication Shop Helper in Sanford, FL, where you'll be an integral part of our innovative team. This exciting opportunity allows you to work hands-on in a dynamic environment, contributing to the creation of high-quality equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the assembly and fabrication of equipment components.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Follow blueprints and technical specifications to complete projects accurately.
- Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines.
- Conduct quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet company standards.
- Assist with inventory management and restocking of materials as needed.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge of equipment.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training is a plus.
- Previous experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents and schematics.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Basic knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented attitude.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
